Finding Your Fox ESS API Key
To connect EnergyDroid to your Fox ESS inverter, you'll need your Fox ESS API key. Follow the steps below to find it.
Steps
- Open foxesscloud.com/login in a browser
- Sign in with your Fox ESS account
- Click the person icon in the top right corner
- Click on User Profile
- Click on API Management on the left hand side
- Click Generate API Key
- Your API key will be displayed. It will look something like:
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Important: Make sure you use the Private Token, not the Authorization Token.
